Names of God / Memory Verses

We will begin to memorize the names of God and verses where those names appear starting May 16, 2008 for children and May 30, 2008 for adults.

Week 1: El Shaddai (The Lord God Almighty, The All-Sufficient-One)

Genesis 17:1

When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the LORD appeared to Abram and said to him, “I am Almighty God; walk before Me and be blameless.

Week 2: El Elyon (The Most High God)

Psalm 57:2

I will cry out to El Elyon: The God Most High,
To God who performs all things for me.
