Valencia Inn

Vision: Isaiah 58:6-11
“Is this not the fast that I have chosen: To loose the bonds of wickedness, To undo the heavy burdens, To let the oppressed go free, And that you break every yoke? Is it not to share your bread with the hungry, And that you bring to your house the poor who are cast out; When you see the naked, that you cover him, And not hide yourself from your own flesh?

What do We Do?

We minister to the lost to give them hope.

2003 – 2007:

We held church at the Arena Inn & Suites from October 2003 until June 2007 when new owners asked us to leave as they are attempting to convert the motel into a place where Disneyland tourists might like to stay; they feel the presence of the church would be offensive. 2007 to Present:

We meet every Friday night at the Valencia Inn at 2630 W Lincoln Ave in Anaheim, CA at 6:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.; our first meeting there was Friday, July 13, 2007.  We hold our meeting indoors now; the Arena was in the parking lot. Bridget, Nicole, Warren, and Camille lead worship.

Wyatt gives a word; we’ve already studied Mark, Habakkuk, Colossians, Philippians, and Ecclesiastes.  Now he is teaching through 1 Samuel. Teachings for download are here or you can subscribe using iTunes.

The church is growing in the Word; it’s wonderful to watch. “The just shall live by faith.”

After worship, Mercier, Bridget and the kids go into the adjacent room, dismissed by team colors, of course.
We have a limited amount of time so we focus on memory verses.

The children are put into 4 or 5 teams and we work on this week’s memory verse, last week’s memory verse and the past verses as a team-focused game.  Each member of the team that wins receives a $5 McDonald’s card.

We still have clothes, bread, and a meal.


Fellowship is so sweet between believers; there is no longer the us-them mentality, but a sweet fellowship among all.

Prayer is the key.

We are looking forward to the miraculous. We praise God for what He has done in answering prayers for healing, salvation, jobs, and apartments. We praise God for what He has done at the Arena Inn & Suites and trust that it will continue wherever these people move: another motel, an apartment, out of county, etc.
