| Vision: Isaiah 58:6-11 “Is this not the fast that I have chosen: To loose the bonds of wickedness, To undo the heavy burdens, To let the oppressed go free, And that you break every yoke? Is it not to share your bread with the hungry, And that you bring to your house the poor who are cast out; When you see the naked, that you coverhim, And not hide yourself from your own flesh? |

What do We Do?
We held church at the Arena Inn & Suites from October 2003 until June 2007 when new owners asked us to leave as they are attempting to convert the motel into a place where Disneyland tourists might like to stay; they feel the presence of the church would be offensive. Read more about the Arena Outreach here. We are have prayed for anew location and are now meeting at the Valencia Inn at 2630 W Lincoln Ave in Anaheim, CA at 6:30 p.m. The Valencia Inn is glad to have us; our first meeting there was Friday, July 13, 2007. We even had a baptism since there is a pool.
We hold our meeting indoors. Bridget, Nicole, Warren, and Camille lead worship.
Wyatt gives a word; we’ve already studied Mark, Habakkuk, Colossians, Philippians, and Ecclesiastes. The church is growing in the Word; it’s wonderful to watch. “The just shall live by faith.”
After worship, Bridget and the kids go into the adjacent room. We held our first meeting for the children Friday, July 28. We studied Mark 1:1-11 and Bridget will be teaching through Mark. There were several children there and much conversation about the Lord. It went quite well. Bridget is excited to see what the Lord will do in and through us all. We still have clothes, bread, and a warm meal.
Howard leads worship outside while the people stand in line for dinner.
Fellowship is so sweet between believers.
Prayer is the key.
We are looking forward to the miraculous. We praise God for what He has done in answering prayers for healing, salvation, jobs, and apartments. We praise God for what He has done at the Arena Inn & Suites and trust that it will continue wherever these people move: another motel, an apartment, out of county, etc. |
